Change Your Browser Home Page

Your Home Page is the page that is displayed when you open your browser or hit the HOME button on your browser's tool bar.  Selecting a new Home Page is simple! 

Netscape:

1. Open Netscape.

2. Type in the URL that you wish to become your Home Page.

3. Press enter.  In this example, we will use www.rbc.edu.

4. When the selected page loads,  Select Edit from the browser's menu.

5. Select Preferences.

6. As a default, it expands the Navigator Category in the left hand pane.

7. Click the Use Current Page button in the right pane and click OK.

8. Netscape will now open to www.rbc.edu.

Internet Explorer:

1. Open Internet Explorer.

2. Type in the URL that you wish to become your Home Page.

3. Press enter.  In this example, we will use www.rbc.edu.

4. When the selected page loads, Select Tools from the browser's menu.

5. Select Internet Options.

6. As a default, it shows the General tab.

7. Click the Use Current button and click OK.

8. Internet Explorer will now open to www.rbc.edu.
