Students

Your email address is usually first initial, middle initial, first four letters of the last name followed by @rbc.edu.  For example, Mary E. Janosky's email addressis:  mejano@rbc.edu
 

Faculty and Staff

Your email address is first initial and last name followed by @rbc.edu. For example, Deborah James is djames@rbc.edu

How do I change my Microsoft Networking Password?

If you are running Windows 2000 or XP:

Changing the Microsoft Networking Password:

  1. Press Ctrl-Alt-Del on the desktop.
  2. Click on the Change Password... button.
  3. Enter the old password.
  4. Enter the new password.
  5. Confirm the new password.
  6. Click OK to complete the password change.
  7. Hit Esc key or Cancel to close the Windows Security box.

If you are running Windows 95 or 98:

Changing the Microsoft Networking Password:

  1. Right-click on the Password icon on your desktop (the little key).
  2. Select Properties.
  3. Click Change Other Passwords.
  4. Type your old password.
  5. Type your new password, and then type it again in the Confirm New Password field.

Note: You can also open the Passwords Properties dialog box by clicking Start, pointing to Settings, clicking Control Panel, and then double-clicking Passwords.

Changing the Windows Password:

  1. Right-click on Password icon on your desktop (the little key).
  2. Select Properties.
  3. Click Change Windows Password, and then click OK.
  4. Type the old password.
  5. Type your new password and then type it again in the Confirm New Password field.
