If you are running Windows 2000 or XP:Changing the Microsoft Networking Password:
- Press Ctrl-Alt-Del on the desktop.
- Click on the Change Password... button.
- Enter the old password.
- Enter the new password.
- Confirm the new password.
- Click OK to complete the password change.
- Hit Esc key or Cancel to close the Windows Security box.
If you are running Windows 95 or 98:
Changing the Microsoft Networking Password:
- Right-click on the Password icon on your desktop (the little key).
- Select Properties.
- Click Change Other Passwords.
- Type your old password.
- Type your new password, and then type it again in the Confirm New Password field.
Note: You can also open the Passwords Properties dialog box by clicking Start, pointing to Settings, clicking Control Panel, and then double-clicking Passwords.
Changing the Windows Password:
- Right-click on Password icon on your desktop (the little key).
- Select Properties.
- Click Change Windows Password, and then click OK.
- Type the old password.
- Type your new password and then type it again in the Confirm New Password field.
