I encourage your participation in an important college-wide endeavor. Richard Bland is in the process of its periodic review to reaffirm our accreditation by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. One important aspect of the reaffirmation process is the development of a Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), a carefully designed and focused course of action that addresses a well-defined topic or issue directly related to improving student learning.

Over the next several weeks, the QEP Development Committee will solicit suggestions for QEP topics from everyone connected with the college through: surveys, online suggestions forms, suggestion boxes, focus groups, and interviews. I request your participation to ensure that we select a topic that is important to all of us and ideally suited to improving student learning here at RBC.
