        The following schedule is subject to change if the needs of the class require doing so.  These changes will be made in writing; however, the responsible student who misses a class will check with classmates to see if changes have been made.  If the College is closed for any reason, the student is expected to continue with the work as assigned.

        Please note:  In assignments in The Little, Brown Handbook (LBH), completion of exercises is optional.  Page numbers for the 9th edition of the LBH are in brackets.

        Paragraph in which you describe a place is due for workshop.  Process:  First, generate ideas and then develop an informal outline.  Draft the paragraph.  Revise.  Edit.  Print final draft.  Proofread.  Bring your prewriting, your final draft, and your diskette to class for workshop.
