      Assessment Directions:

You are allowed to take the math assessment two times The first time is considered practice.   After the practice assessment, spend time in the Prep/Learning Modules to review.  This review is ESSENTIAL, as your score will not likely improve without it.  We recommend at least 3 hours of review, but the more you review, the better!  You will be able to take the Official Assessment on the date that you have selected previously.  The calculator on the computer screen is the only one authorized for use while taking the assessment.  Be sure to save your ALEKS login information as it will be required to use for the Official Assessment, and possibly afterwards.

A score of 39 or higher will place you in college level Math.  A pre-set schedule will be finalized once scores are received (within following week usually).  You will be able to view your course schedule at Orientation/STARS.
