Before you can access Banner INB, you must have JINIT installed on your PC: Installing/Updating the jinitiator application
If you will be using any type of third party software tool (like Evisions, MS Access or Excel) then you will also need to have Oracle Client installed on your PC (email helpdesk@rbc.edu to schedule). You will also need to have a current copy of tnsnames.ora. You can update the tnsnames.ora file yourself by following the instructions contained in Updating tnsnames.ora File(pdf).
