A housing deposit submitted by the deadline guarantees the student a room on campus. Deposits submitted after the deadline will be considered on a space-available basis. The deposit is non-refundable except in the situation noted below:
- If a student is not allowed to continue enrollment at the College based on reasons imposed by RBC (i.e. academic suspension, suspension imposed by the Student Conduct Board or a Dean)
A student who submits a housing deposit who then chooses to move off campus, or is required to move off campus based on a decision made by the College (i.e. Student Conduct Board, decision by a Dean), must inform the Office of Residence Life, who will then change the student’s status to commuting. The deposit will not be refunded, but will remain a credit on the student’s bill for tuition and fees.
