• complete the FAFSA and the Richard Bland College Application for Financial Assistance
• be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
• be registered with the Selective Service (if required)
• be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a regular student working toward a degree
• have a high school diploma or a General Education Development (GED) Certificate
• have a valid Social Security Number
• make and maintain satisfactory academic progress
• not owe a refund on a federal student grant or be in default on a federal student loan
