This application provides the Financial Aid Office with demographic, budgetary, and scholarship application information. The 2008/2009 Richard Bland College Application for Financial Assistance may be obtained from the Financial Aid Office.
Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
The FAFSA provides the Federal Processing Center with household, income, and asset information used to determine the expected family contribution and Federal Pell Grant eligibility for each applicant.
2007 Federal Tax Return(s) and or other financial documents are needed to complete the FAFSA.Parent information is required unless the student is one of the following: 24 years of age, serving on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces for purposes other than training, a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, working on a master’s or doctorate program, married, both parents deceased or you are a ward/dependent of the court, or have legal dependents that you provide more than half of their support.
The Richard Bland College Financial Aid School Code is 003707. The Financial Aid Office will receive your results electronically if the school code is listed.
Before completeing the FAFSA, apply for your PIN at www.pin.ed.gov. If you are providing parent information on the FAFSA, one of your parents must also sign your application. To sign electronically, your parent should apply for his or her own PIN. Complete the 2008/2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. If you do not have Internet access, you may visit the RBC Library, any other public library, or the Cyber Cafe located on the second floor of the Center for Student Affairs.
