Friends Raising Funds @ your library ®

The Friends of the Richard Bland College Library have made available for purchase an engraved sterling silver replica of the RBC gazebo. Note that the silver gazebo may be worn as either a pendant or as a pin.

  • Engraving: RBC within the roof portion and 1960 just below
  • Size: 1.5" by 1.5"
  • Silversmith: Award-winning silversmith, James A. Curtis of Colonial Williamsburg, who years ago, adorned the RBC college mace with a silver engraved coat-of-arms of the Bland family.
  • Price: $40 (which includes one-year membership to the Friends of the RBC Library)
  • Inspiration: The Earl Gregg Swem Library at The College of William & Mary developed a sterling silver replica of their signature library window inspired by the historic Wren Building.
  • Ordering Process: Contact the library to submit an order. The library will then submit a group order to Mr. Curtis. You will be notified when your gazebo pin/pendant becomes available. Checks should be made payable to: Friends of the RBC Library.
