Campus Event
The Richard Bland College Library and Student Activities office co-sponsored a Constitution Day Essay Contest in celebration of Constitution Day on September 17th. Every year, according to federal law, each educational institution which receives federal funds should hold a program about the Constitution for students. Writing on the topic of "Why the Constitution is Important to Me", RBC students were invited to submit single-page essays that were judged by three RBC faculty members—Christine Anderson in History, Angela Burcham in Biology, and Dan Ream from the RBC Library.
