DKG Zeta Chapter and Dr. James Ruffa @ your library®

Dr. James Ruffa, Executive Director of the Appomattox Regional Governor’s
School for the Arts and Technology was the guest speaker at the October meeting of the Zeta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International, an honorary organization for women educators.

The meeting was held at Richard Bland College in the Library Community Room.

Located in historic Petersburg, Virginia, ARGS is the only full time governor’sschool in the state devoted to the arts and technology with an enrollmentof 330 students. The mission is: Through integration of a wellfounded liberal arts education with intensive focus upon specific artistic or technological disciplines, the Appomattox Regional Governor's School will nurture gifted and talented creative thinkers, leaders, artists, innovators,and pioneers in the fine, performing, and technological arts.
