A message from President McNeer: I am pleased to proclaim this week as "Friends of Libraries" week at Richard Bland College. Please join and support the Friends of the Library as they do much to enhance the quality of our library. The library is the center of academic life on campus and we thank them for their dedication and service.

Who are the Friends of the RBC Library?

The Friends of the RBC Library are a group of dedicated individuals who volunteer their time to support the RBC Library.

• They help move our library from good to great by raising money to provide additional resources that support special collections, access to print and electronic materials, additional programming, and other special events throughout the year.
  
  
• They advocate for our Library as the center of learning and intellectual growth on our campus - connecting students with the "many faces and many voices" of others from ages past to the present.

Fabulous Flea Market Silent Auction

The Friends of the Library has placed over 30 items up for auction. Come to the library to see the items underneath the stairway. Then, get your "silent number" from the Library Circulation Desk, and bid on any items you would like to have!

The Silent Auction runs from Monday, October 17 and ends at 12:00 Noon on Monday, October 31.

All proceeds go to support the RBC Library.
