Graduate Gift Books
The Library's Graduate Gift book program allows proud parents, friends, and relatives to purchase books for the library in the name of an RBC graduate.
After a minimum donation of $30 is given to the library, the library staff will order a book in honor of the graduate. A book plate is then added to the book noting the name of the graduate, the name(s) of the donor(s), and the year of graduation from RBC. The special RBC graduate also receives honorable mention in LION (the RBC library catalog), in the memory book at the Circulation Desk, and on the library website!
As a special bonus for the class of 2011, the RBC graduate whose friends/family have made a donation to the library may stop by to pick up a complimentary copy of a Parks Duffey print of the campus from the Friends of the RBC Library.
To purchase a book in honor of a graduate, download and submit this form.

About the Parks Duffey Print
In February of 2001 The Friends of the Richard Bland College Library commissioned Parks Pegram Duffey III to paint the Richard Bland College campus. For eight months Mr. Duffey visited the campus, solicited input from faculty and staff, and worked on a canvas that evolved into a painting that includes architectural renderings of buildings, whimsical remembrances of people and events, and an overall lovely depiction of the campus.
Many thanks to The Friends of the RBC Library for providing the complimentary prints by Parks Duffey, and sincere thanks to Dr. LeAnn Binger and Ms. Jacqueline Harrison in the Office of Advancement for overseeing donations.
