Renovating for the Future! Celebrating National Library Week @ your library®

ALA's National Library Week logo

First sponsored in 1958, National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation's libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support.

The RBC Library has adopted the American Library Association's
Join the Circle of Knowledge @ your library® theme
in its celebration of National Library Week 2008 from April 13 to April 19.

Special Exhibit: Blooming Books @ your library®

RBC Librarian, Joy Galloni, created handmade altered books in celebration of National Library Week.

Joy Galloni
Joy folded book pages to create an assorted array of book sculptures.
