Rotaract Donates to USO @ your library®
The USO stands for the "United Service Organization," and their purpose is to get Americans to volunteer their time to help support US military personnel. They are a nonprofit, Congressionally-chartered, private organization. They rely on the generosity of individuals, organizations, and corporations to help the military families while they travel.
Our troops make sacrifices that most of us can hardly imagine. They leave behind their friends and family and put their lives on the line for us every day. That's why the USO works so hard to share a touch of home with them wherever they serve -- from free phone cards to care packages to much-needed breaks provided by our entertainment tours. You can help support our troops, lift their spirits, and honor their service by donating items to the USO at the Richmond Airport.

The RBC Rotaract Club collected all sorts of items such as paper plates, cold drink cups, paper napkins, plastic forks, paper towels, crackers, potato chips, chewing gum, and sodas. These were donated to the branch of the USO on the first floor of the Richmond Airport. This branch provides refreshments/snacks for service members.
