Digital Photography by Sarah Nicol @ your library®

Student Sarah Nicol displays her photographs of the Richard Bland College campus in the lobby of RBC Library.

Sarah Nicol is a native of Prince George County, VA and is a 2007 graduate of Prince George High School and 2010 graduate of Richard Bland College.
Sarah began taking pictures as a child and has fond memories of her first camera, a hot pink Barbie camera. Sarah first recognized her passion for photography in high school. She began taking digital photography in 2005 and received her current digital camera, a Nikon D-60, in 2008. She loves taking pictures and concentrates mostly on nature but hopes to develop her portrait skills.
Sarah will be transferring to the College of William & Mary and will start classes in the Fall of 2010. She will be studying history and will be applying to the School of Education. She hopes to be active in the college’s photography club and learn from them. For now, photography will remain just a passion for Sarah but it may become a small business in the future.

A collection of Sarah’s photography can be viewed on
