Sign Dr. Virginia Cherry's Memory Book
@ your library®
Dr. Virginia Cherry, Library Director of Richard Bland College, will retire on June 30, 2012 after 19 years here. The library staff is putting together a memory book that contains best wishes and memories from the entire campus. So, stop by the library to sign the book! Include your favorite memories of her, funny stories, or just general congratulations on her retirement! If you would like, you can also just email either Irene Handy or Jacqueline Carrell, and we'll include your letter in the book.
Please be sure send all your contributions in by May 31, 2012. 
Surprise Retirement Party for Dr. Cherry! On June 22, 2012, the library staff held a surprise retirement party for Dr. Virginia Cherry. She was presented with the memory book, and faculty and staff from Richard Bland were invited to stop by the library to say their goodbyes.
