Celebrating Women's History Month @ your library®

Annually, the Virginia Women in History program pays tribute to Virginia women of the past and present. The program includes a panel exhibition; a poster with pictures and informative text; learning activites for schools, libraries, and museums; and an awards ceremony held every March during Women's History Month.

A dedicated supporter of both the Library of Virginia and the Virginia Women in History program, RBC Library Director Dr. Cherry attends the 2009 Virginia Women in History awards ceremony in March at the Library of Virginia.
