Purpose of the program

Graduation clip artThe RBC Library Graduate Books program is designed to honor graduating students. Family members and friends of graduates can donate a minimum of $30.00 to the RBC library. The Library will then purchase a book in honor of that graduate. A gift plate indicating the graduate, the year of graduation, and the donor is placed in each book. (The books are selected by librarians and do not necessarily reflect the beliefs or preferences of individual graduates.)

Graduates may search under their name in the online catalog to find out what has been donated in their name. The catalog record specifies in whose honor a book has been donated.

To both honor a graduate and support the Library for years to come by participating in the Graduate Books program, please stop by, call us at (804) 862-6226 or email the Library for more information.
