RICHARD BLAND COLLEGE FOUNDATION HOSTS SIXTH ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT
Petersburg, VA – The Country Club at The Highlands, a private 18-hole club in Chesterfield, will serve as the setting for the Richard Bland College Foundation’s 6th Annual Golf Tournament to be held on September 4, 2013. Proceeds from the tournament will directly benefit Richard Bland College students in the form of scholarships and enhanced educational experiences including athletics, honors and other special programming.
The tournament is open to the first 30 teams, 120 players with four players to a team, and will feature golf entertainer Roger Caldwell of Great Golf Events. This tournament will be a scramble format with a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. The paid team registration includes welcome gifts, cart, 18-holes of golf, door prizes, and two mulligans per player, beverage tickets and dinner. The check-in and warm-up is at 11:00 a.m., with dinner, awards and a break-the-glass challenge beginning at 6:00 p.m.
Tournament sponsorship and various other sponsorships are available at multiple levels, providing businesses and corporations of all sizes the opportunity to participate in this event to support Richard Bland College and its students.
