Manufacturing Day

Central VA FAME together with CCAM and RBC will host students for an MFG Day event on Friday October 7th as part of a national effort to showcase manufacturing careers and connect employers with America’s future workforce – students.
Local students will learn more about FAME, hear from current Manufacturing Engineers, FAME students, and local Manufacturers. The day will continue with students getting to see lab equipment used in FAME courses, tour Richard Bland College, meet local manufacturers, university partners, and tech demos. Lunch will be provided.
