RBC Named Blackbaud Impact Awards Finalist

Richard Bland College (RBC) was recently recognized as a finalist for The Fueling Greatness Award at this year’s Blackbaud Impact Awards. The College leveraged Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT technology to streamline its donor outreach for its Debt-Free RBC Degree campaign, which eclipsed $1 million in funding.
“This recognition reflects the power of our shared commitment to making a college degree more accessible and affordable,” said Justin May, Head of RBC Advancement. “Through the Debt-Free RBC Degree campaign, we are removing financial barriers and creating opportunities for our students to succeed.
“We are grateful to Blackbaud for this honor and for providing the technology that helped us advance our campaign and reach our ambitious fundraising goal.”
The funds raised from the Debt-Free RBC Degree campaign will expand endowed scholarships, provide immediate aid for critical needs such as textbooks and technology, as well as establish a comprehensive Student Needs Center that provides essential basic needs support for students. At the heart of the campaign was the belief affordability, access and student success must go hand in hand.
