Sakara El, a second-year student at Richard Bland College, is deeply committed to community and amplifying student voices. Born and raised in Richmond and the oldest of six, Sakara is a natural leader and advocate who believes in turning words into action. Her mission is to show up, listen, and ensure every student feels confident and comfortable using their voice.

Responsibilities:

● Provides crucial feedback from the second-year student perspective

● Assists the student assembly by motivating second-year students to participate in campus events

● Promotes the student assembly mission by designing programming for second-year students
