Welcome to RBC! We are excited for you to begin your journey with us. Before classes begin, we want to be sure you have all of your questions answered, which is why we have the following opportunities available to you:

Richard Bland College New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation is designed to ensure that new students have a successful transition and integration into college life and an introduction to campus life at Richard Bland College of William & Mary. All students who are new to Richard Bland College, including transfer students, are strongly encouraged to participate in orientation before classes begin.

For students matriculating fall 2022, new student orientation dates are as follows:

  • July 9, 2022
  • July 13, 2022
  • August 13, 2022
  • August 17, 2022

During orientation, students will have the chance to do the following:

  • Meet and engage with other incoming students and staff at RBC
  • Meet the Learner Mentor Team
  • Learn about the campus and the services offered
    • Residence Life
    • Dining Services
    • Counseling Services
    • Disability Services (accommodations)
    • Records & Registration
    • Campus Technology
    • Honors Program
    • Campus Engagement (Student activities)
  • Complete any remaining business
    • Financial Aid
    • Business Office
    • Admissions
    • Student ID (only available if attending on campus)
