Following a national search, the Richard Bland College Board of Visitors today announced the appointment of Kenneth Cooper Alexander, Ph.D., as Interim President, effective May 11. Dr. Alexander will succeed Dr. Debbie L. Sydow who last year announced her intent to step down as president in June after 14 years of distinguished service to the College.
Due to inclement weather, all classes during the first week of the semester will be held online from January 26–30. This temporary shift ensures the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff. In-person classes will begin on February 2 as scheduled.
