Richard Bland College of William & Mary is the only two-year residential college in Virginia. The residence halls were built in 2008 and offer apartment-style living with state-of-the-art amenities. Students are able to live and eat affordably starting at just $9,840 per year ranging up to $11,640 per year depending on their room assignment.

The Language Institute

Through the Language Institute, Richard Bland College will offer over 70 different conversational languages to anyone, anywhere through a strategic partnership with Main Street Virtual Learning. These language courses focus on the “hows” of language, not the “why” of traditional linguistics programs, and they are delivered through a proven synchronous distance learning platform that allows for high faculty and classmate interaction. Students are fully immersed in the language from anywhere in the world. With a headset, a webcam and broadband internet access, students can learn to communicate in an increasingly global economy from the comfort of their home. In addition to expanding language learning options for Bland students, the Language Institute will serve as a resource for business, military, and vacation travelers alike.
