Richard Bland College of William & Mary is the only two-year residential college in Virginia. The residence halls were built in 2008 and offer apartment-style living with state-of-the-art amenities. Students are able to live and eat affordably starting at just $9,840 per year ranging up to $11,640 per year depending on their room assignment.

New Student Orientation

On Saturday, Aug. 13 from 9 am to 7 pm, new Richard Bland students will be treated to a fun-filled day of orientation and campus wide activities. With classes starting on Monday, there’s no better way to jumpstart your RBC experience and Create Your Journey than an informational and entertaining day on campus.

9 am – 10 am: Check-In & Breakfast (Statesman Hall)

10 am – 10:30 am: President’s Welcome/Meet Your Learner Mentor (Soccer Field)

10:30 am – Noon: Playfair Teambuilding (Soccer Field)

Noon – 1 pm: Lunch, Bookstore, Clubs & Organizations (Statesman Cafe)

1 pm – 3 pm: Scavenger Hunt (Campus)

3 pm – 5 pm: Orientation Field Day (Campus)

5 pm – 7 pm: Dinner & Bonfire (Shelter behind Statesman Hall)

*The RBC Bookstore will be open from 9am to 4 pm on Aug. 13
