Payment Option Information

Richard Bland College of William & Mary offers several options for students and families to pay for their educational expenses.  All payments are received and managed by the Cashier’s Office. Payments can be made by mail, in person or over the phone, and online via a one-time payment or a monthly automated payment plan. Please view more information on the payment options below. If you have questions regarding your payment, please contact the Office of Student Accounts at (804) 862-6100, extension 8100 or email CashierOffice@rbc.edu

Returned Payments

Any returned payment will result in the payment being reversed on the student’s account. A service fee/NSF charge will be applied to the student’s account in order to cover the college’s cost of processing the returned item, including any bank charges. Upon notification of the return, a hold flag may be placed on the student’s account to prevent future registration and acquiring official transcripts.

Any student account not paid in full or secured by a Payment Plan or Financial Aid may be assessed a late payment fee of 50 dollars as prescribed in 2.2-4805 of the Code of Virginia. Failure to receive a bill does not waive the requirement for payment when due and will not prevent the application of the late payment fee. Please review the Tuition and Refund Policy for additional information on due dates and late fees.  Any amounts not satisfied by the due date may be referred to a collection agency, and collection fees may be added. Please review the Collection Policy section for further information on past-due accounts.
